MATERIALS, WEATHER & CARE
Yes. VESTIVIUM products are designed for outdoor use, but proper protection and maintenance are required. Remove standing water or snow, allow adequate ventilation in extreme heat, and use a fitted all-weather cover during extended periods of non-use.
Applicable products use corrosion-resistant materials including 304 stainless steel and powder-coated 201 stainless steel. Regular cleaning and protective maintenance are recommended, especially in coastal or salt-air environments.
Use a microfiber cloth and non-abrasive cleaner, wiping in the direction of the stainless-steel grain. Remove cleaning residue thoroughly and apply an appropriate stainless-steel or protective cleaner. Avoid abrasive products on control panels and sensitive surfaces. VESTIVIUM grill do the bulk of the cleaning work themselves. All you have to do is preheat on a high heat until the food residue burns off. Remnants can then be easily removed from the cooking grate when it is still hot using the specially designed brushes.
VESTIVIUM products use 304 stainless steel or powder-coated 201 stainless steel for good rust resistance. We recommend wiping metal surfaces weekly with clean water, especially in coastal areas, and applying rust-preventive oil. When not in use for extended periods, use a protective cover to help extend product lifespan.
Warranty coverage for rust-related damage is subject to the applicable warranty terms and maintenance requirements. Rust-through caused by failure to follow recommended cleaning, protection, or maintenance procedures is not covered.
